Back on the Bus

CNN correspondent Tom Foreman reported from the CNN Election Express this afternoon, as the mobile news bureau makes its way to the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

The bus left Washington around 10amET this morning, and headed to Pennsylvania (look for a live hit during The Situation Room). It will be traveling to Ohio for an appearance on Campbell Brown: Election Center tonight.

The Election Express stops at many battleground states en route to Denver, and then on to St. Paul for the Republican National Convention.

It will be put to use at the convention locations, serving as the main production facility at the CNN Grills and live shot locations, as well as Sen. Barack Obama’s speech from Invesco Field.

Earlier: Back in September, when the presidential frontrunners were “from New York,” TVNewser got a tour of the CNN Election Express when it stopped in NYC.
