Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen started his career as an intern at CBS News in 1989. In addition to hosting a late-night talk show, Cohen is the man behind the popular Real Housewives franchise and the New York Times best-selling author of The Andy Cohen Diaries. Cohen returned to CBS on Friday, joining CBS This Morning to discuss his famous friends, offending Barbara Walters and even getting into trouble during his internship.

“I remember when I was on the seventh floor of this building, answering the phones at the news desk when I was an intern and I remember someone from a CBS affiliate in, I think Spokane, Washington, called and I said, ‘oh are you No. 1 in your market?’ They said, ‘yeah’ and I said, ‘oh, we don’t know anything about being No. 1 at the CBS morning show.'”

Cohen went on to say, “Congratulations. The news is back. You finally figured this show out. It took about 40 years but you figured it out.” Check it out here.
