Anderson Cooper On Moderating Debates: “It’s So Surreal”

By Alissa Krinsky

Filling in for Regis Philbin today on Live With Regis & Kelly, CNN’s Anderson Cooper answered Kelly Ripa‘s questions about what it’s really like to moderate a presidential candidates’ debate. “It’s so surreal,” he said, “to see these politicians up close…it’s like going to the Hall of Presidents at Disneyland — they’re remarkably lifelike.”

Lifelike, but not sweaty. “They don’t actually sweat,” Cooper continued. “And I don’t know how this is possible…I sweat more than Albert Brooks in Broadcast News.”
