Alfonsi Joins ABC News

ABC News announced that Sharyn Alfonsi is joining the network as a correspondent for all programs and platforms. Alfonsi joins ABC from CBS News where she covered the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the Virginia Tech massacre and the Sago mine tragedy.

Alfonsi will be based in New York and will report for World News with Charles Gibson, Nightline, and Good Morning America, as well as ABC News Radio, ABC News Now, and ABCNEWS.com.
