Alex Jones Leaks His Pre-Interview with Megyn Kelly

Controversial radio talk show host Alex Jones recorded his pre-interview phone call with Megyn Kelly and released some of those conversations last night.

“It’s not going to be a contentious, sort of gotcha exchange,” Kelly explains of her interview, which will air Sunday night on NBC. “I’m not looking to portray you as some boogeyman or just any sort of gotcha moment. I just want to talk about you.”

“I’m gonna trust you,” Jones says. “I’ve always been a fan of yours, until everything happened,” said Jones, speaking of the flap with Donald Trump during the first presidential debate.

“Megyn Kelly is a puppet,” Jones said, after playing the audio clips. “She is a beautiful woman that the corporate
structure uses to push their agenda.”

“It shows the arrogance of people like Megyn Kelly that she didn’t think we’d record her,” said Jones, who taped Kelly’s interviews, with his own cameras, “so we can document postmortem how she edited. How she manipulated.”

In response, an NBC News spokesperson says, “Despite Alex Jones’ efforts to distract from and ultimately prevent the airing of our report, we remain committed to giving viewers context and insight into a controversial and polarizing figure, how he relates to the president of the United States and influences others, and to getting this serious story right.”
