Aftermath: 40 Hours Of Missing Children Photos On CNN This Weekend

By Brian

CNN is displaying photos of “Hurricane Katrina Missing Children” for 40 hours this weekend in an effort to reunite displaced loved ones.

In a partnership with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the images are appearing continuously on the left side of the screen until 11pm Sunday.

“We are grateful to CNN for dedicating an entire weekend to broadcasting their photographs, thus significantly increasing the chances of reuniting even more children with their loved ones,” NCMEC president Ernie Allen said in a press release.

Kimberly Oasis is stationed at a phone bank in Alexandria, Virginia. “If these children ring any kind of bells in your memory, please call,” she said. CNN.com’s Help Center page is also tied in to the effort…
