ABC’s ‘NY Med’ Ends On a High Note

ABC’s summer docu-series “NY Med” ended its eight episode run last night on a high ratings note.

Part one of the season finale aired Tuesday night at 10pmET/9pmCT drawing 4.01 million total viewers, including 1.62 million adults 25-54. The program managed to effectively double the ratings of its lead-in, a rerun of the sitcom “Don’t Trust The B In Apartment 23.”

Part two of the finale aired Wednesday at 10pm/9pm, drawing 4.41 million total viewers, including 1.77 million adults 25-54. That was the second largest audience in the Wednesday timeslot for ABC this Summer.

Executive producer Terry Wrong oversees the series, which was filmed over the course of a year at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, and profiles actual doctors, nurses and staff working there.
