ABC World News’ Hubble Blasts Off

ABC’s World News with Charles Gibson is planning extensive coverage of Monday’s mission for seven astronauts to repair the Hubble telescope.

World News had behind-the-scenes for the training and preparation before the mission, beginning more than a year ago. Some back story on the mission and the coverage is on ABCNews.com.

The first report from ABC News’ science correspondent Ned Potter airs tonight, and the “Rescue Mission” segments continue throughout next week.
