Less than two hours after Elizabeth Vargas anchored her final edition of World News Tonight, ABC News published a new biography of Charlie Gibson on ABCNews.com.
His old bio, under the GMA section of the site, has been supplemented by his new bio, under the WNT section. It says “Charles Gibson is anchor of ABC News’ flagship broadcast ‘World News Tonight.’ He is one of the most distinguished journalists in television with more than 40 years’ experience, more than 30 of which he has spent at ABC News…”
One other change to the bio comes at the end: It now mentions his grandson along with his two daughters…
