YouTube is launching a 2012 “Election Hub” that will feature the latest political highlights, breaking news and videos. To fill the hub with content, YouTube has partnered with a slew of media companies, running the gamut from newspapers and TV news outlets to blogs and… Larry King.
In addition to King, content partners include ABC News, Univision, Al Jazeera, the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Buzzfeed. The channel will stream the 2012 Presidential and Vice Presidential debates, using ABC’s feed.
YouTube, appropriately, made a video previewing the hub:
You can watch all of the live speeches from the floor of the upcoming Republican and Democratic National Conventions, see Google+ Hangouts with power brokers behind the scenes, and watch a live stream of the official Presidential and Vice Presidential debates. You won’t need to go anywhere else for the must-watch moments of this election cycle…they’re all happening here live.
