ABC News has announced it will deliver coverage this October of “The Shriver Report: A Woman’s Nation Takes on Alzheimer’s,” a study conducted by the Alzheimer’s Association and Maria Shriver for the California Women’s Conference. ABC will be the official media partner of the report.
This is the second such report from the first lady of California, and former NBC News correspondent. Last fall, NBC News teamed up with Shriver for the first report, titled “A Woman’s Nation Changes Everything.”
For the week of October 18th, all of ABC News’ broadcast programs will feature related coverage. During NBC’s coverage, Shriver was named “guest editor” and made an appearance on “Meet the Press.” No appearances been scheduled for Shriver on ABC, though that will likely change in the two months leading up. Shriver was the EP of HBO’s Emmy award-winning “The Alzheimer’s Project.”
