The year is coming to an end, which means the broadcast networks are set to bring back their holiday prime-time year-end recap specials.
ABC News anchor Robin Roberts and her ABC News on-air colleagues are taking a look back at the year’s biggest news stories in The Year: 2018, a two-hour special for 20/20 which airs tonight from 9-11 p.m. ET on ABC.
The trailer shows “the highs, the lows, the hookups, the breakups, the feuds and the floss.” (Yes, “the floss” is that viral dance move.)
NBC’s year-end special, A Toast to 2018!, is hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. Pre-taped weeks in advance, this year-end special will air on New Year’s Eve (Monday, Dec. 31), from 8-10 p.m. The highlights, lowlights and newsmakers of 2018 will be brought to the forefront in what will be a fun, high-energy two-hour broadcast (it’s KLG & Hoda, after all!).
