ABC EP David Sloan Silent On Future Of Primetime & 20/20

Another excerpt from the AP’s newsmagazine story: On ABC, “there’s a very real chance that either ‘Primetime’ or ’20/20′ won’t be included when ABC announces its fall schedule in two weeks. What may save them is ABC’s need to fill several struggling time slots.”

EP David Sloan “was reluctant to discuss those programs’ futures,” David Bauder writes. “I think there’s always good reporting to do and that’s what we aim to do every week,” Sloan said. That doesn’t sound very optimistic…

At the very end of that conversation as they were hanging up Bauder tossed in an unrelated question about newsmagazines. So to say David was reluctant to answer is absurd…”
