Abby Huntsman‘s first day on the job at Fox News is today. A former co-host of MSNBC’s The Cycle, Huntsman will be a New York-based general assignment reporter for Fox News.

Network Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes is happy with his new hire. “I’ve followed Abby’s work for some time,” Ailes said. “I believe she is talented and headed for a bigger future.”

Huntsman is the daughter of 2012 Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman and worked for HuffPost Live before landing at MSNBC. Back in 2014, the then-MSNBC host praised Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer for “an interview done right.”
