MSNBC’s Abby Huntsman Praises Fox News’ Bill Hemmer for ‘Interview Done Right’

By Jordan Chariton

A compliment among competitors today, as MSNBC’s “The Cycle” co-host Abby Huntsman complimented Fox News’ Bill Hemmer for his interview this morning with Karl Rove.

The interview kudos was for Hemmer’s segment with Rove on this morning’s “America’s Newsroom,” where Hemmer pressed the former President George W. Bush aide on a New York Post report that said Rove suggested Hillary Clinton might have brain damage from a fall she suffered in 2012 during a private conference he spoke at last week. The story also quotes Rove claiming Clinton was hospitalized for 30 days.

“Our research says she was in the hospital for three days,” Hemmer said, pressing Rove on his numbers (watch after the jump).

Things were less complimentary this morning on “New Day,” when John King called Rove’s comments “shocking” and “reprehensible,” adding it will be interesting to see if his “employers at Fox News Channel” think Rove’s comments were appropriate.
