A Tale of Two Interviews

By Brian

Vice President Dick Cheney granted interviews to FNC’s Neil Cavuto and CNBC’s Lawrence Kudlow on Thursday. But the CNBC interview was barely noticed: Cavuto averaged 1,074,000 viewers from 4 to 5pm Thursday, while Kudlow had 206,000 viewers between 5 and 6pm. In the 25-54 demo, Cavuto had 308,000 viewers and Kudlow scratched with only 38,000.

Also, “[most] of today’s news stories had quotes from Neil Cavuto’s FNC show,” an e-mailer noted on Friday. “I guess FNC did a better job of getting the information out there.”
