A Closer Look At Erin Burnett’s Ratings

Portfolio’s profile of CNBC rising star Erin Burnett says the demo audience for her 2pm show Street Signs increased 27 percent in Q2 compared to the year before.

And the 9am show she co-hosts, Squawk on the Street, “is up 79 percent over last year, the biggest improvement of all CNBC’s daytime business programming.”

While it’s a big improvement, Squawk on the Street still scratched three times in June. So far this year, the broadcast has averaged 109,000 demo viewers between 9 and 9:30am, and 133,000 demo viewers between 9:30 and 10am.

Street Signs, meanwhile, has averaged 106,000 demo and 321,000 total viewers…
