It’s three wins in a row for Lester Holt as anchor of NBC Nightly News, with a +9 percent lead in viewers and a +10 lead in the A25-54 demo over ABC’s World News Tonight.
Compared to the same week last year Nightly News was up the most in the demo (+11 percent) while CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley was up the most in viewers (+10 percent). Nightly was also up +5 percent in viewers vs. last year when Brian Williams was in the anchor chair.
World News Tonight with David Muir was up +6 percent vs. the same week last year, and is the only newscast to grow season-to-date in both total viewers (+6 percent) and the demo (+1 percent).
