Geraldo “Will Have Nothing To Do” With Creation Of A FOX National Newscast

Following up on “Geraldo’s Show Could Be “Beginning Of A Process” Leading To Fox National Newscast” from earlier today:
A Fox News executive refuted Geraldo Rivera‘s comments in the Television Week article. “Contrary to what he claimed, Geraldo’s show is NOT the prelude to a national newscast. The new syndicated show will be a distinct product unique to Geraldo’s talents, but he will not be involved in the beginning of any national newscast on FOX,” the exec said.
However, the executive did not rule out the notion of a national newscast led by Shepard Smith. “If it does get off the ground, Geraldo will have nothing to do with it — he’s a completely separate entity.”
