Fox Business anchor Liz Claman is spending her time off this weekend running, biking and swimming — for a cause.
This Sunday, Claman will compete in the Nautica New York City triathlon, raising money for Building Homes for Heroes, a nonprofit that constructs homes for disabled soldiers returning from Iraq or Afghanistan.
Although Claman has participated in the NYC triathlon — which is sponsored by WNYW, the flagship station of Fox Broadcasting — for the past two years, this is the first time she will compete for charity. “When I think about running and swimming and biking, and oh I’m gonna hurt … I think, ‘What about those guys?'” Claman told Triathlete magazine. “This? What I’m doing? That’s nothing.”
