Mediaite founder Dan Abrams — also a reporter and legal analyst for ABC News — turned the tables on CNN’s Eliot Spitzer last night. Abrams was on to talk about the media coverage of Weinergate, but mid-way through the conversation, he said to the former New York Governor who resigned office after his own sex scandal: “Let me ask you, I’ll turn the table on you… just quickly… I would think that this is something that you know about.”
Spitzer, caught off guard by Abrams, responded: “I sympathize with Anthony Weiner. I know he is going through torment like virtually no other, but his greatest sin from the perspective of the public was not being truthful at the moment of crisis.”
