Evening News Ratings: Week of Feb. 15

By Chris Ariens

While last year’s polar vortex kept TV viewers inside, unusually warm temperatures last week brought them back outside, or at least not as tuned into the evening newscasts. All three newscasts were down double digits in the A25-54 demo compared to the same week last year when much of the U.S. was in the grip of bitterly cold temperatures. NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt won the week, followed by ABC’s World News with David Muir, and the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley in third place.

Due to CBS’ telecast of The Grammy Awards on Monday “CBS Evening News” is removed from the 5-day average.
