‘GMA’ co-host Lara Spencer Splits From Husband

By Brian Flood

“Good Morning America” co-host Lara Spencer is separating from her husband of 15 years, according to The New York Post. Spencer and former CNN contributor David Haffenreffer have been married since 2000. The couple released a statement to the Post.

After a lot of thought, care and consideration, we have decided to end our marriage. It’s a sad decision that did not come easily, especially because we respect and love each other and our children. They remain our top priority. We will raise them and care for them together.

The Post also reports that Spencer and Haffenreffer are still good friends and the split is amicable. They’re reportedly even on vacation with their kids this week. Haffenreffer is now a broker at Houlihan Lawrence in Greenwich, Conn. He was previously a contributor to CNN morning show, “Ahead of the Curve.” Spencer has been a co-host on “GMA” since 2011.
