NBC’s “Tonight” show has been atop the late-night competition again of late, but last week, the gap between NBC and second place “Nightline” on ABC was the smallest it’s been since Jay Leno took over the program again.
“Nightline” has solidly been in second in total viewers, ahead of CBS’ “Late Show” for six weeks, and was #2 across the board for the week.
