“Today” show co-host Willie Geist visited the Bushwick Family Residences in Brooklyn this morning, where he renovated the shelter to help it feel more like home… just in time for the Christmas. The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children and celebrity designer Elaine Griffin helped Geist transform the shelter’s outdated recreation room into an special space for the children to use after school. Geist is working to raise awareness of the troubles of 2.5 million U.S. kids affected by homelessness.
