A two-hour edition of “Dateline” Friday had a strong night.
The newsmagazine drew 6.2 million viewers and 1.7 million A25-54 demo viewers, topping the broadcast networks in the 9pm-11pmET timeslot.
The episode, with Andrea Canning reporting, told the story of the murder of a Denise Leuthold, a religious missionary woman, murdered on Valentine’s Day last year. Denise’s husband, Nathan, was sentenced to 80 years in prison for her murder last week.
