First Lady Michelle Obama gave her thoughts on leadership yesterday, telling Robin Roberts the time has come for another historical presidency.
“That should happen as soon as possible,” Obama said on whether she can envision a woman president. “I think this country is ready. This country is ready for anyone who can do the job…we have some options, don’t we?” Obama continued to applause.
The First Lady also ruled herself out for higher office following her husband’s presidency : “I am positive,” she said about not getting into politics. The two women spoke after the White House Summit on Working Families.
