As we reported last night, Fox News was the top rated channel at 10pmET on Tuesday, on broadcast or cable. Here’s the breakdown:
FNC: 6,179,000
NBC: 4,468,000
CNN: 3,220,000
ABC: 3,098,000
CBS: 2,928,000
MSNBC: 1,590,000
Some other notes:
• The figure was up from the Tuesday at the 2004 RNC for FNC (by about one million total viewers) and CNN (by more than double). MSNBC declined slightly.
• Even though it was the top rated program at 10pmET, it was not the top rated program of the night on television (as CNN was on Thursday). I mean, come on, America’s Got Talent!
• ABC kept the most viewers from its 9:30pm lead-in, “Wanna Bet.” It kept 90% of its viewers.
• FNC beat CNN and MSNBC combined in prime time on in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo.
