ABC’s “This Week” wins for a second straight week in both total viewers and the A25-54 demographic. The win was ABC’s first back-to-back win in total viewers in close to 16 years (since 4/19/98 and 4/26/98).
CBS’ “Face the Nation” was second, with “Meet the Press” in third as most of the Sunday shows covered the tumultuous situation between Russia and Ukraine. “Fox News Sunday” was fourth in total viewers and fifth in the demo, and Univision’s “Al Punto” was fifth in total viewers and fourth in the demo.
Compared to the same week last year, all of the networks are up in both ratings measurements, with “Al Punto” showing the most growth in total viewers, up +48%, and “This Week” showing the most growth in the demo, +51% in A25-54 viewers.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,202,000 total viewers and 545,000 A25-54 viewers. Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” averaged 1,270,000 total viewers and 699,000 A25-54 viewers (some rebroadcasts were preempted for coverage of the Olympics).
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 50% of the country.
