CBS’ “Face the Nation” was the top-rated Sunday public affairs show on December 22. ABC’s “This Week,” which has beaten “Meet the Press” in total viewers for the last three weeks and in the A25-54 demographic for three of the last four weeks, was second in both ratings measurements.
Compared to last week, only Univision’s “Al Punto” and ABC’s “This Week” are up in both ratings measurements. “Face the Nation” and “Meet the Press” are down and “Fox News Sunday” is flat across the board.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 1,773,000 total viewers and 317,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 50% of the country.
