NBC’s “Meet the Press” was on top January 27 in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demographic. In a departure from the usual order, ABC’s “This Week” came in second among younger viewers, beating CBS’ “Face the Nation” by +56,000 in the demo.
Compared to the same week last year, “Meet the Press” is the only show to be up in both ratings measurements: +1% in Total Viewers and +11% in the A25-54 demographic. “This Week” (+5%/-12%) and “Fox News Sunday” (+1%/-17%) are up in Total Viewers but down in the demographic, while “Face the Nation” (-7%/-29%) and Univision’s “Al Punto” (-9%/-7%) are down across the board.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,079,000 Total Viewers and 426,000 A25-54 viewers. Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” delivered 1,085,000 Total Viewers and 447,000 viewers in the demo.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 56% of the country.
