It was a split decision for the Sunday political affairs shows on October 21: CBS “Face the Nation” won in Total Viewers, while NBC’s “Meet the Press” won in the A25-54 demographic.
ABC’s “This Week” was third, “Fox News Sunday” was fourth and Univision’s “Al Punto” was fifth.
Compared to the same week last year, “Meet the Press” and “Face the Nation” are down in both ratings measurements. “This Week” and “Fox News Sunday” are up in Total Viewers, but down in the A25-54 demographic.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,731,000 Total Viewers and 606,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour airs in just 47% of the country.
