’60 Minutes’ Rerun Tops New Fall Shows

By Chris Ariens

A rerun of “60 Minutes,” with the benefit of an NFL lead-in, was the most-watched show last week — even ahead of 12 primetime season premieres on other networks. Sunday’s “60 Minutes” featured Scott Pelley’s interview with NFL super-agent Drew Rosenhaus and Anderson Cooper’s interview with singer Adele — both rebroadcasts from earlier this year.

60 Minutes (CBS) – 12.36m
Voice (Mon) (NBC) – 12.29m
Voice (Tues) (NBC) – 11.42m
Go On (NBC) – 9.73m
X-Factor (Wed) (FOX) – 8.73m
X-Factor (Thurs) (FOX) – 8.30m
Glee (FOX) – 7.41m
New Normal (NBC) – 6.96m
Shark Tank (ABC) – 6.40m
Guys With Kids (NBC) – 6.25m
20/20 (ABC) – 6.13m
Parenthood (NBC) – 5.48m
What Would You Do? (ABC) – 5.31m

These figures are in total viewers. In the ad-friendly A18-49 demo “60” was 13th, but still ahead of NBC’s premieres of “Guys with Kids” and “Parenthood.” Last week’s #1 show overall was Sunday Night Football on NBC watched by 21.3 million.
