’60 Minutes’ is 6th for the Week

A close Chiefs-Texans game — a one-point win for Kansas City — helped make “60 Minutes” the sixth most-watched show of the week. “60” drew 14.95 million viewers with a 9.4 rating / 15 share, good enough for the No. 5 spot in Households. Sunday’s show featured Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s interview with former Vice President Dick Cheney, Scott Pelley’s story about conserving the humpback whale and Steve Kroft’s investigation into Congressional Political Action Committee spending.

Kroft went to Washington with the intent of interviewing three congressmen in particular. “We had been trying really hard to get them to sit down and give us an interview,” Kroft says in a “60 Minutes Overtime” video. “Nobody would give us an interview. So, we just decided to go down to Washington and try and pigeonhole or doorstop all three of ’em.” WATCH:
