60 Minutes attracted an estimated audience of more than 20 million viewers Sunday, the biggest audience for the long-running CBS news magazine since 2008.

CBS says ratings in metered markets also indicate Sunday’s edition had the show’s highest ratings of the season in the key demo, with a 4.7 ratings among adults 18-49.

The show got a boost from its lead-in, CBS’s broadcast of the Pittsburgh-Denver playoff game which was the highest-rated Sunday AFC Divisional Playoff game in 21 years, on any network, in the metered markets. The 26.2 rating / 44 share in the metered markets was also the highest-rated game of the 2015-16 season on any network.

Charlie Rose‘s highly anticipated interview with Sean Penn about the actor’s secret meeting with drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman–and subsequent Rolling Stone story–was featured Sunday night.
