Tonight the CBS newsmagazine “48 Hours Mystery” will broadcast an update to a piece it aired in May, 2011.
The original story “The Boy Next Door” focused on the death of two women in southern California, and another in Illinois, as well as Michael Gargiulo, who was believed to be the killer. The problem is that the police did not have enough evidence to charge Gargiulo… until the “48 Hours” story aired.
After viewing the story, two new witnesses stepped forward. More on “48 Hours Mystery” at 10pmET/PT tonight.
