It has been a significant couple of weeks for ABC News’s 20/20. First, there was the George Stephanopoulos – James Comey interview (labeled a prime time 20/20 special), which delivered nearly 10 million prime time viewers on Sunday, April 15.
Last Monday, ABC News named Amy Robach the next 20/20 co-anchor. She will join David Muir at the end of May.
It was announced this morning that ABC’s prime time newsmagazine show is being inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame. 20/20 posted a video on its Twitter account, featuring GMA’s Robin Roberts, Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan and The View’s Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Meghan McCain congratulating 20/20.
