2005: Greta Up 27% Year Over Year

The 2005 Nielsen ratings reaffirm Greta Van Susteren‘s claim to the title of “most watched woman in cable news.” Compared to 2004, Greta was up 27 percent in total viewership with 1,748,000 viewers, and up 9 percent in the 25-54 demographic, with 504,000 viewers. (She can thank Natalee Holloway for some, but not all, of it.)

The ratings for her 10pm broadcast more than doubled CNN’s for the year. Since Anderson Cooper 360 premiered on Nov. 7, FNC’s time slot advantage over CNN is 138%, as the above graph demonstrates…
