As of January 2010’s close, Fox News’ “Special Report” and “FOX Report” both hit 100 consecutive months as the top rated cable news programs in their time slots.

Shepard Smith, who has been anchoring “FOX Report” for 10 years, tells TVNewser, “This milestone is a tribute to my executive producer Kim Rosenberg and her enormously talented team and the hundreds of Fox journalists who’ve built this organization, under Roger Ailes leadership, from scratch.”

“Fox is the most trusted name in news due to the hard work and integrity of the men and women who relentlessly beat the streets in search of truth,” Smith commented. “Fox journalists are our foundation. It’s an honor to present their work each night.”
