Today’s trailer roundup includes Disney+’s Willow: Behind The Magic, Apple TV+’s The Big Door Prize, Shrinking, The Reluctant Traveler and Netflix’s The Upshaws Part 3.
Willow: Behind The Magic streams January 25. Featuring the series’ breakout stars and returning legends, the documentary takes viewers behind the scenes for an in-depth look at the making of the hit original series. Warwick Davis reprises his titular role as he leads an unlikely crew of heroes – which includes a now-grown Elora, who has just learned of her prodigious birthright – on a quest to protect Andowyne from an even larger foe than they had imagined possible.
The Big Door Prize is coming soon to Apple TV+. Based on M.O. Walsh’s novel of the same name, The Big Door Prize tells the story of a small town that is forever changed when a mysterious machine appears in the general store, promising to reveal each resident’s true life potential.
Shrinking debuts on Apple TV+ January 27. The series follows a grieving therapist (Jason Segel) who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives, including his own.
The Reluctant Traveler premieres February 24. The eight-episode series follows Eugene Levy as he visits some of the world’s most beautiful and intriguing destinations in Costa Rica, Finland, Italy, Japan, Maldives, Portugal, South Africa and the United States, exploring remarkable hotels and the places and cultures surrounding them.
The Upshaws: Part 3 returns February 16. Bennie Upshaw (Mike Epps), the head of a Black working-class family in Indianapolis, is a charming, well-intentioned mechanic and lifelong mess just trying his best to step up and care for his family all without a blueprint for success. But the Upshaws are determined to make it work, and make it to the next level, together.
