Culture Machine’s network of over 500 YouTube creators and production resources, combined with What’s Trending’s brand, will create a formidable new media property in India. The sale of Maker Studios to Disney in March demonstrated the power of digital video networks – especially the ones that succeed on YouTube – and MIPCOM this year may lead to a host of similar acquisitions and partnerships across the globe.
