Filmmaker Tim Burton (Batman, Edward Scissorhands) brings his own ghoulish take on the Addams Family with the upcoming Netflix series Wednesday. The series is a sleuthing, supernatural mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy, where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town and solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago. Jenna Ortega stars in the title role, with Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley.

In a world of privilege and glamour, two young women’s friendship transcends their strikingly different classes as they prepare to complete their education and enter vampire society. One as a powerful Royal, the other a half-vampire Guardian trained to protect against the savage Strigoi who threaten to tear their society apart. The cast includes Sisi Stringer, Daniela Nieves, Kieron Moore, André  Dae Kim, J. August Richards, Anita-Joy Uwajeh, Mia Mckenna-Bruce, Rhian Blundell, Jonetta Kaiser and Andrew Liner.

The Vampire Academy comes to Peacock on Sept. 15 with the first four episodes and new episodes weekly on Thursdays.

The Croods: Family Tree Season 4 streams on Hulu on Aug. 31.

Excluded from the adults-only cave in the series, the kids create a much cooler kid-cave tempting the adults to switch. A freak lightning storm turns Thunk into a genius while Ugga arranges a “Punch Summit” for peaceful co-existence with the punch monkeys. When a meteor is found to be hurtling towards the farm, the Bettermans and Croods decide how to spend what could possibly be their last day on earth.

To show support for his neighborhood friends serving in Vietnam, Chickie Donohue (Zac Efron) decides to do something outrageous: travel to the frontline by himself to bring the soldiers a little piece of home—their favorite can of American beer. However, what started as a well-meaning journey quickly turns into the adventure of a lifetime as Chickie confronts the reality of this controversial war and his reunions with his childhood buddies thrust him into the complexities and responsibilities of adulthood.

The Greatest Beer Run Ever airs on Apple TV+ on Sept. 30.
