Outside of the United States and the United Kingdom, France has one of the most active social TV audiences (it’s worth following Philippe Khattou‘s Twitter account, @French_SocialTV), and today they are getting their own Twitter TV Ratings.
Nielsen has been the purveyor of Twitter TV Ratings in the U.S. for more than a year; in October 2014, Kantar Media unveiled the U.K.’s official version. Today, Mediametrie – a French audience measurement company – released France’s official version. Twitter plans to expand its social TV ratings system across the globe, partnering with analytics companies that have a footprint in the respective countries.
Below, the first version of France’s Twitter TV Ratings. It appears as though no matter where ‘The Voice’ is on, it will take the social TV cake.
