Trump Uses Facebook Live to Hold Wild News Conference

By Steve Safran

Just before Sunday’s presidential debate, Donald Trump went on Facebook Live with three women who had accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault. The impromptu availability featured Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick and Paula Jones (whom Trump had, in 1999, called “a loser”). Also on this panel was Kathy Shelton, who was a rape victim when she was 12. Hillary Clinton defended her alleged attacker, who agreed to a plea deal (Clinton did not let him get away with rape, as many have claimed).

It was an unusual scene. It lasted all of three minutes. At the end, as members of the media asked Trump if he felt entitled to grope women, Jones jumped to Trump’s defense, yelling “Why don’t y’all ask Bill Clinton that? Ask Hillary as well!”

In response, the Clinton campaign issued a statement and put it out on Twitter:
