Today’s new trailers include Hulu’s Conversations With Friends and the return of Peacock’s Girls5eva and Starz’s P-Valley.
The Hulu series Conversations With Friends, debuting May 15, follows Frances (Alison Oliver), a young college student navigating a series of complicated relationships that include her ex, now best friend Bobbi (Sasha Lane), Melissa (Jemima Kirke) and her actor husband Nick (Joe Alwyn). While Bobbi and Melissa start a heavy flirtation, Frances and Nick get entangled in a secret affair.
Girls5eva is back for a second season May 5 on Peacock. The series follows a one-hit wonder girl group from the 1990s who reunite for another shot at superstardom. Season 2 will chronicle the group’s attempt to record their first studio album in years. The cast includes Sara Bareilles, Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps and Paula Pell.
Starz’s critically acclaimed series P-Valley returns June 3. The season premiere will stream at midnight on the Starz app and at 9 p.m. ET on Starz linear channel. Season 2 will take viewers deeper into the lives of the characters of The Pynk, a small strip club in the Mississippi Delta. The returning cast includes Nicco Annan, Elarica Johnson, Brandee Evans, Shannon Thornton, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Parker Sawyers, Harriet D. Foy, Dan J. Johnson, Morocco Omari, Dominic DeVore and Tyler Lepley.
New cast members include John Clarence Stewart, Miracle Watts, Shamika Cotton, Gail Bean and Psalms Salazar. Katori Hall serves as showrunner.
