Hulu’s The Hardy Boys to End With Season 3

The Hardy Boys’ upcoming third season will be its last.

The Hulu series, based on the children’s mystery novel of the same name, has started production on Season 3 in Toronto and around Ontario, according to Variety.

Season 3 will see the Hardy Boys and their allies unearth even more mysteries, secrets and threats as they put together their great-grandfather’s long-lost map and race against time to discover a potent ancient artifact before it falls into the wrong hands.

Bailee Madison has also joined the series in a guest starring role. She’ll play Drew Darrow, who is described as a new ally with a sharp mind and a taste for magic and mystery.

The show is created by Corus Entertainment studio Nelvana and Lambert Productions.

“From its inception, it’s been a joy to work with Lambur Productions, Hulu and YTV on ‘The Hardy Boys’ and introduce these iconic characters and gripping adventures to a new generation,” said Pam Westman, president of Nelvana, in a statement to Variety.

“The exceptional cast and crew brought the revered Hardy Boys adventures to life, successfully engaged audiences around the world and garnered awards and critical acclaim,” she added. “As this mystery comes to a close, we’re looking forward to providing fans with more mystery-solving action, surprising turn-of-events, and laughs in a wild final season.”
