“Empire” has officially taken over Twitter on Wednesday nights. Last night, they made the first slot, according to the Nielsen Social ratings with an audience of 3,323,000 and 750,000 tweets. Compare that to “American Idol” and “Catfish: The Show” that had around 1,253,ooo and 1,131,000 respectively. “Criminal Minds” and “The 100” on CW rounded out the evening.
