5byIn this Friday’s installment of our partnership with 5by, the video discovery and messaging platform that curates the web’s best viral videos, we take a look at the top five videos of the week from the platform’s TV category.

Cartoon Network’s ‘Adult Swim’ makes the list for the first time with its short ‘Too Many Cooks’ – which, like Kim Kardashian’s ‘Paper Magazine’ cover – “broke the internet” this week. In another turn, scientist Kevin Delaney demonstrated the ability to create clouds on the set of Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Tonight Show.’  For more on the videos selected, Theo Tabah, 5by’s Head of Content:

Too Many Cooks. A random, somewhat twisted, 80’s sitcom-esque TV short, aired on Adult Swim earlier this week in the wee hours of the morning. It then proceeded to take the Internet by storm, and if you haven’t seen it yet, check it out here, but be aware it takes quite the dark turn.

In other TV weirdness, Jimmy Fallon had expert scientists Kevin Delaney on his show to perform a few science demonstrations, all of which awed the audience and proved that science is in fact, modern witchcraft.

Jimmy Fallon wasn’t done there, he and Channing Tatum play the best game of ‘Box of Lies’ yet, and Tatum proves he can lie with the best of ’em.

Conan’s ‘Cold Open’ to his Son’s of Anarchy episode is a masterpiece (in Conan O’Brien terms), and clearly, he was meant for the open road.

Finally, our man John Oliver takes on the American lottery, and it’s pretty horrific. Once again he reveals dark secrets of corporations and organizations that portray themselves as benevolent and whole-hearted. TL:DW, buying lottery tickets is never a great idea.
