RunRev is a flexible, cross-platform development environment (OSX, Windows, Linux) for building both web applications and customized desktop applications. It is basically a high level authoring environment in the tradition of Hypercard and Supercard, but with all the enhancements one would expect from a modern development tool.
Last week RunRev announced that they were moving into the mobile space. Their initial implementation will support both iPhone and WinMo development. This joins a variety of other tools targeted at making developing mobile apps easier. What I find exciting about RunRev joining the space is it’s a quite mature development platform and they have a history of really focusing on cross platform development.
