Talk about a time warp… it was 1975 all over again on Fox Thursday night, as it presented a live production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. While it didn’t get great reviews (we’d like to point out the original film didn’t, either), its audience was big on social media. The show took the number one spot in Nielsen’s Social Content Ratings for Thursday among series and specials.
The top social performer of the night was only a horror to Dodgers fans. The Cubs/Dodgers ALCS game saw the Cubbies take a 3-2 game lead in the best of seven series. (While we are neutral reporters with absolutely no bias, #FlyTheW. Just sayin’.) The game saw about twice the social uniques and interactions as Rocky Horror.
